Every leading model, one workspace
Teams shouldn't have to pick one AI vendor and hope it stays the best. Lexlaw puts models from the major providers side by side in model sets, with friendly names like Fast or Expert. Auto picks a model for each message based on what it needs, and you can switch at any time without starting over.
Upload a PDF, a Word document or a CSV and ask about it. Long audio and video recordings are transcribed for you, so a deposition recording or a recorded consultation becomes searchable text without changing tools.
Privacy you can configure, not just a promise
Before a message reaches an AI provider, Lexlaw can swap personal data for placeholders such as [PERSON_1] or [MRN_1]. The model works with the placeholders, and you see the real values again in the reply. Administrators choose which of 65 kinds of personal data to mask, from names and Social Security numbers to medical record numbers, payment cards and API keys.
Guardrails can check text at six points, from the moment a file is uploaded to the moment a reply comes back. Each one can watch quietly or step in.
For organizations that handle protected health information, data privacy mode limits chats to models with zero data retention and no training on your data. It signs people out after 15 minutes of inactivity and keeps the audit log for at least six years. It's a HIPAA-ready configuration, designed to be paired with your own Business Associate Agreements.
Skills: templates your whole team can use
A skill is a reusable template: instructions for the AI plus a starter prompt, such as Contract Review or Medical Record Timeline. Build one once and share it with your organization. Teammates can use it without seeing (or accidentally editing) the instructions behind it. Browse our skill library for ready-made ones.
